How we gather fee data for each location

For each area we cover, we review publicly available fee information from letting agents that advertise in that location.

We record typical fees for let-only, rent collection and full management services, along with common setup and renewal charges where agents publish them clearly.

Each location page shows the month and year we last checked the data, so you know how up-to-date the information is. Fees are a guide only and may vary between individual properties and agreements.

How often do you add new locations?

We add new locations regularly, focusing first on areas where we see the most demand from landlords. If you request a comparison in an area we don’t cover yet, that helps us prioritise it.

I can’t see my town, but a nearby area is listed. Which should I use?

If your exact town isn’t listed but a nearby larger area is, you can use that page as a rough guide. Fees in neighbouring towns are often similar, but you should still confirm exact charges with any agent you’re considering.

Do you include every letting agent in each area?

We aim to include as many active letting agents as possible, but some firms don’t publish detailed fee information online. In those cases, we may not be able to show their fees until more information is available.

Can agents request to be added or updated?

Yes. If you’re a letting agent and want to ensure your fees are listed correctly for a particular area, you can use our agent update page to send us your latest information. Go to the agent portal →
